It's a beautiful fairing for sure, is it too high for your height or are you just not used to it?

For buffeting, there are lots of opinions and options. Obviously fairing angle is one you should experiment with. The other that people say have worked well for them is a deflector below the lower triple tree. You can't really see it (looks like a half a pie pan flipped upside down). Lots of touring bikes use them and can be found relatively easily. The buffeting is apparently caused by wind coming from under the fairing trying to equalize the pressure of the wind being pushed off the front of the fairing (or something along those lines).

Good luck

Is that a one piece fairing? I think I'd at least want to be able to see through the windshield if needed

Most people say that the height of the windshield should be at roughly nose level and that you should be able to look over it (The set up I had at one point was that I could see down to about 30 feet in front of me without the windshield coming into my view). I can tell you that at 5'7" I found my HD Quick detach which I had cut down to 14" a little high for me. I would think that the height of yours may be a touch too high but that's for you to decide. Maybe the height isn't bad but given how dark it is coupled with the increased height over your previous will take some getting used to.

I had the same problem on my T-Sport years ago. The best solution I found was to add a Laminar Lip. The picture on their website is from my bike, I sent them a windshield so they could make a mold...

Default Stabilizer?

What Steering Stabilizer are you using and was it available in a kit form?

Ride Safe,
