Is it possible for a motorcycle to wobble from a bent frame and yet handle properly? And, you never noticed the wobble?? I am having a difficult time wrapping my mind around this one...

With the bars I have on my bike I get blown around a lot at 80 MPH, but it handled pretty good, or I just got use to it.
When I rode my friends bike home from the shop I rode it 70 to 75 MPH most of the way to see if there was a noticeable difference between our bikes, and there really wasn't. Mine is an 02 WG and his is an 03 WG.
I know it's weird. They had my bike on some kind of table today they use to make sure everything is straight and level. They had the front end perfectly straight, and when you looked at the bike it actually looked like the frame was bent to the left. I'm not talking a little bit you have to look at to notice, I'm talking really bad. Yet it handled pretty good and the tires wore evenly.
I'm just glad nothing major happened that would have caused me to go down. I'm usually 4th from the front when we ride, and if I'd went down everyone behind me could have.
Only time I noticed a wobble was when I put a set of Night Dragon tires on. It was so bad I took them off after a week.
serious? 4K to switch over? I'd buy that 2200 dollar frame and do the switch myself. Really not too much to it. should be a straight up swap for the most part.
but... sounds like u made up your mind dude, so I'm sure it'll be cool.
Love my softail, but fun to hop on wifes dyna now and again
