Google Dave Quinn Motorcycles, He's the US distributor for Hagon shocks and he is very knowledgeable about motorcycle suspension.
He's a real nice guy too!
I need to give them a call and have a conversation, because it's not clear from the web site descriptions exactly what are the differences between the 2810's and the Nitro model, other than cosmetics. Not that the colors aren't cool!
2810 have stepped cam preload adjustment and painted body/spring..
nitro's have stepless threaded preload adjustment and stainless body/spring

Dave will try to push you to the Nitro's, not because he's trying to make you spend more money but because he truly believes that they are more suited to the Dyna chassis.
The 2810's would have been wrong for me because I'm a big guy and they would be too lightweight.
He told me that they would be an improvement over the stock shocks but that he didn't recommend them for me.
They actually used light mono shock springs in mine and they are f...in' awesome for me at 295 pounds.
If you're a regular sized guy between 175 and 225 pounds, the 2810's will work fine in my honest opinion.
I just picked up a stock rear wheel to replace that hideous rear wheel and to match the front wheel that I put on when I put the FXDX forks on, It'll look better when the wheels match.
I could never get used to looking at those chrome star wheels.
