Default Flashing rear lights on start up.

01 Low rider. When the I turn on ignition. The rear turn signals blink. Then the left rear light goes out. The turn signal works when I push the button, but the left rear "running light"(???) is not on.

Anyone?

Thanks

(I switched bulbs. Same issue. Checked fuse. Checked wires. etc)

One more bump.

OK. I found my rear tire rubbed on the wires. So I re-wrapped the exposed wires. Still on start up they will blink & the light turns back off.

The turn signal works...but not the running light.

Might have a bad turn signal module.

I found out how to check codes. They were all clear.

The turn signal works just not the running light. Talk about driving someone bonkers (lol)

Yes. I've switched bulbs from left to right. Works on the other side.

broken wire...
I'm not trying to say I know what's going on but the electrical problems are usually near the connectors. i have had litle connectors corrode on my 2008 already!

Yes. It's something strange. The turn signal works, just not the running light.

I'm going to start checking the front connectors I guess. Maybe one came loose or something? (plus I am the one who wired them when I ran the wires through the bars.... user error! user error! )
