Default Extremely stiff front brake lever

Hi guys I've just picked up my new 2015 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob today but I am having problem with my front brake lever - it is extreme stiff I could hardly pull on it.

My bike has ABS could this be the problem? I am planning on going back to the dealership to get it looked at tomorrow.

Front brakes have proven themselves to be quite temperamental, take it to your dealer.

I took my bike in to Harley dealer they told me that's how Harley make em hard to pull back because they are hydraulic brakes so he said.

Does anyone know if I could buy an adjustable brake and clutch lever for 2015 Street Bob?

Thanks in advance.

mine seemed stiff at first too, coming off a Honda shadow. But Ive gotten used to it, even though the feeling is a bit vague.

Is it the lever at the hinge point or the actual cylinder? ABS should not make lever stiff. Just how strong is your grip? If you shake the lever up and down, can you see a little free play at the pin.

When i apply the front brake all the way it would only let me squeeze in about 5 to 10 mm maximum.

I have ordered after market brake and clutch lever from roland sands they are adjustable hopefully this will fix the issue for me.

Your front brake is Supposed to be solid, and the lever does not move much. If it were mushy you have air in your lines. Squeeze it! Its your primary brake.

Funny how perceptions are different from person to person. Any bike that I've owned I did everything I could to get as solid a brake lever as I could. I can't stand a soft feeling lever.
