That is awesome - seriously.

Question - what are you doing for switch blocks?

Again thanks for the comments. The color, Seafoam green has be haunting me the last couple years. Really wanted that late 50's early 60's color palette. Always grew up around hot rods/gassers. To respond to what i did for switch blocks....obviously bike has no blinkers but i also removed the horn and for that matter the idle cable from the throttle. I also removed the nuetral "safety" switch from clutch lever and front brakelight switch. That leaves on/off,start and high beam/low beam. I built a switch plate on center console and cover them with flip up switch covers. Thats it...no other wiring.

It is a 21" 120/70 front wheel but i dropped frontend 1 1/4 to offset added height of tire. But i do have a 140 for it which is a little taller.

OMG. I don't get jealous very often, but wow. I really, really wish I'd have thought of that first!

I have an '09 with those same pipes and I can't believe how good that white looks. Man, I wanna start working on her again!

Looks great. Love the FLD front end. Would you mind sharing where you found it? I've been watching eBay. I think the cost for a new one would be quite expensive.

The front end was piece by piece. I wasnt gonna go that route but another forum member was more than generous and gave me the lowers for the goose. He had swapped them with chrome ones. I know stuff shows up here and there but well worth it. Also go with progressive suspension or equivelent springs from the get go. Dont waste money on OEM stuff. Always loved the FL style front end. Got that and the boards from Switchback

Actually there are bits of an FLD front end on eBay right now. Guess I could start collecting little by little. I can ride it like it is till I piece it all together. I got the Dyna footboard kit which was born of the FLD, then ended up getting softail ½ moon boards, bolt right up to the FLD footboard brackets and replaced the brake pedal cover with the round one for the retro look. Sold the "square" boards on ebay for a decent price. Thanks for the info.
