Default Bad Rear Wheel Bearings

I have a 2012 Dyna Street Bob. The rear wheel bearing went out and created a groove (spun bearing) where it sits. The new bearing was just dancing around in it. I ended up getting a new hub for my rear wheel. A year later which was last weekend my second set of bearings had gone bad at 25,000 miles. I looked on other forums to find out how to temporarily fix it until my third hub comes in, I will post pictures up later. is there anyone else out there that has had this issue?

This thread mentions bad bearings. And my Superglide has a singing and buzzing feel on left hand sweepers.

That... is the very reason I am going to 3/4 inch sealed ceramic bearings from brocks.. you can get them in just about any size..

I am done with HDs' cheap chinese clunker bearings.. esp given that they are only 15mm wide as compared to the older ones which were both 21mm wide.. good luck..

For 25mm axle if your wheels hubs are machined for the wider bearings you can put in standard size bearing number 5205. It is a dual row bearing, not the single row HD uses. Obviously you will need the sealed version of the brand you choose. I'm using SKF 5205-A2RS, you will need to cut a new bearing spacer sleeve though if you are replacing narrow 25mm bearings. All your axle hardware stays the same.
