2003 FXDX
- Memphis Shades Road Warrior fairing with 15” black smoke windshield (windshield is wrapped with black vinyl in some images)
0 issues with my Memphis Shades Road Warrior fairing for both reliability and performance. My FXDX has the 39mm front end and I am using Trigger Lock mounting kit from MS, and have never experienced a loose fit or failure when riding. I’m also 6’4” and with the 15” windshield my chest and helmet is completely blocked from any wind. I am even able to ride with my visor up without air catching it.
Thanks for looking!

Picked up a used Memphis Shades Bat wing and tried it on the Bob , had to move signals which cleaned up the bars for sure. Got to ride it once before weather shut me down for the season . Hoping to change the bags for next season . Pretty easy to install, only issue is the clamps are spread apart enough that my Harley Quick release windshield won't fit with out moving the Memphis claps slightly .

multiples here
For the last 5 years I've been behind a JD Customs FXDXT re-pop fairing. These are hand laid fiberglass and never perfectly square. My first one i actually sent back it was so crooked. I used the anti buffeting kit on the FXDXT also. 49mm mid glide front end. I've rode thousands of miles behind it. I love the look and it provided enough wind protection for me. Obviously not as much as my street glide but enough. I am now switching to an FXRT fairing. I love the look and the added wind protection should be outstanding. The FXRT fairing is also a JD Customs. I bought it used and then purchased a JD Customs bracket for it. There are many X brackets on the market but i feel like JD's sits the fairing better than the rest. It puts the curve of the fairing around the tank like an original FXRT fairing would be and tucks it in nice and tight. I see a lot of FXRT fairings on bikes that just look off to me due to the bracket position. Just my .02 though. It's the same Dyna in both pictures by the way!!

I love the Memphis Shades Road Warrior fairing. They look great! You aren't joking about the RT fairing costs. Then you still have to buy a 7" headlight. Honestly I pieced my setup together over 2 years. I bought the fairing used. It came with the RP pods and all moons mc lighting. Then I bought the bracket, then the lowers and the RP bags. I sat on parts for a long time. Patience is not my strong suit either lmao.
