The SE Customs OG Ness fairing is a very secure mount. It actually mounts in three places: bottom and two at the top, which used to be similar to the collet struts that Rifle Fairing uses. There is no bouncing in the wind. I bought mine from a member for $100, and you could probably build on using the Rifle collet struts and a mounting block for about $100 less than SE Customs kit, if you look way back in this thread you will see how I made a similar one with an FXDC. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...e-yours-4.html page 4
As for wind protection, it doesn't really offer any. It takes a little bit of the wind off of your chest is all. It's probably a little bit better than stock but if you really want wind protections look at the FXDXT repops or obviously the FXRT style fairings.

The Arlen Ness fairing absolutely DOES not move. Super solid. Protects from mid chest down...helps on long highway hauls. Depending on your bars, you can mount a GPS on the headlight..fairing does a good job protecting it...or you can add a cool stereo from PLEXAUDIO...they have specif stereo systems for various fairings. But I can definitely recommend the Arlen Ness fairing. Had mine on over 2 years now, and I love it.
