Have you replaced handle bars or had the switch pods apart recently?

pull one or both wires off the rear switch, if the light goes out the switch is the problem.

I had the same problem once, ended up being the front brake. I shimmed it with a dime.

If your front brake lever is not returning all the way and you can push it forward and the light goes out then squeeze the brake lever and spray in some WD-40 and work the lever until it goes all the way out on its own.

It's part of the rear brake line. Usually and inch or so after the bubble fitting where it turns from rubber to steel line .

+1 This is dead on. This is so easy and quick to do it doesn't hurt not to try.

But also I have a question.

How do you know your front brake is fine if you said your brake light stays on constantly?

Do you mean that when you pull or release the front brake the light turns off? If that's the case than check to make sure your front brake switch is good to go check to see if that switch is sticking or broken.
