Hey all, Just got me a spankin' new 07 WG. Already at 600mi. Taking off on a huge roadtrip this summer and thinking about a new seat. I find that the stock one is a little short? (I'm 6'3"). I am looking for suggestions on an awesome touring seat for taller types. Heard about gel inserts... Those work? Thanks.

I have the H-D touring pillow seat for the WG, $229 and I think it's great.
I'm 6'2 and slightly larger than average (about 280) and I can ride with that seat for 6-700 miles a day without being sore or stiff.
Plus I think it looks good as well. If you really need to stretch out you can get highway peg mounts for the WG that mount using the regular peg mounts and are quite comfy. Dennis Kirk and J&P have those, $160 I think.

I have a mustang seat. It is the vintage wide solo with back rest. I also have it with the passenger seat. I really like the seat and the looks. It is simple to remove the pass. seat and leaving the solo, the backrest is worth every penny!!
Just my .02. Good luck!!!!

JayFromPa is right about the Tallboy seat. I'm 6-4 and had one on my '06 WG and hated it. It put me back farther, but raised me up such that I felt like a kid in a booster seat. I went with a Corbin Classic Solo with passenger pillion. It was made to my specs so it worked well. At your height, you may want to consider having something constructed to your particular needs. Also, consider extending your forward controls a bit beyond stock.
