hello all, I just put a new mustang solo on my fat bob. when I removed original seat I noticed that the nut side that goes through the fender doesn't come out the same as others, like when I removed the black c clip it does not let the nut side fall through the fender. there seems to be some thing on underside of the fender that blocks it in? any advice would be appreciated.

 

You can't remove it. It's actually part of the rear tail light assembly. The seat screw doubles as a mount for the light as well.

 

ok, that sux, I guess if I put a fender bib it wouldn't look so bad

same issue here! Just put a mustang vintage solo on er' and that nut just stays put!Think I'll mount a silver dollar there just cuzz its a hell of alot cheaper than any of harley's options!
