Default Which Gaskets?

So I am going to swap out my OEM pipes for some Straight Shots here in the next few weeks. Pipes and baffles are ordered, but i'm not sure which gaskets to purchase. I looked at the HD OEM's and they appear to be not as thick as several of the aftermarket brands (including S&S) which I'd think would crush and seal when tightened down. I'm sure lots of folks have replaced pipes, what do you recommend?

Also, should I be using lock tight when installing the new pipes? If yes, blue or red?

Thanks:

There should be a set of gaskets included in with the new exhaust, use those. If there's not, use a set of the SE gaskets. Do not use any locktite on the header bolts. Use a little anti-seize.

My Big Shots didn't have gaskets with the pipes. V&H recommends Screaming Eagle gaskets.

I have been having good luck so far with the serrated flange lock nuts. Just checked the torque on them a week ago and they are holding torque way better that the stock nuts.

They do work well as long as you get grade 8. Summit has a pack of ARP grade 8 cadmium for around $10 shipped. I started using the cometic copper gaskets with good results so far.
