Do we need to grease the swingarm bearing?
I had an annoying squeak for a long while. Lubed the shock bolts but not change. Finally read where it could be the swingarm. I took the cap off and noticed that it was very dry and dirty so sprayed some silicon lube. Viola, the squeak went away.
But am thinking that when I sprayed the bearings (or whatever is inside past the nut, that I probably cleaned off what ever grease that was on it. I ride through a lot of water.
So do I need to take it all apart and grease the bearings, or will spraying lube (not WD40) be good enough? Most posts seem to say that no servicing is required. I left my shop manual at my indy so cant look it up.
