Default exhaust problem

got a new exhaust
SEE PIC,

it is exhausting on right bag ,raised bag up as high as i could, it is now just passing under it and hitting it

worried about leather---- it a bad g buffalo heavy bag

will leather be ok?? thoughts on it??

IMO exhaust pointing up towards anything is a bad idea, but that's just me. I would think bags are made to take heat being most of them are close to any exhaust system. But I haven't seen any exhaust pointing directly at a bag either. Hopefully someone else can answer your question for you if they have a similar setup.

I think you will be fine. The end of the muffler looks like its 8-10 inches away from the bags.

don't worry, it's like 18" from the bag, I don't even think the bag will get warm.

its about 16-19 inches and only hitting bottom corner of bag behind shock eye

dose get warm, strap bounces with throttle

thinking air flow while moving will take care of most of the problem

going for a ride about a month away hopefully -- 5ft snow banks ice all over ground

I've had them a whole lost closer than that with no issues. 3-4".
