Default 14 FXDL Nightstick

Just took possession of a Screaming Eagle Nightstick slip-on and wanted to know if anyone else is running one and has any suggestions on number of disks to use and if an open end-cap is better for sound and performance. As of right now I have the stock air cleaner but will upgrade that shortly. Thanks

I'm using the SE Nightstick slip on...I use the aluminum open end cap and have 6 disks on it. I started off w/5 disks and the stock intake, then added the SE intake and the SEPST and had it dyno tuned, then added one more disk.

It comes with 12 disks and the closed end cap, but IMO it was too raspy sounding. Per the ST website, an open end cap is equal to 10 disks for flow.

Thanks man. I'll order an open end cap and AC and start mixing and matching.
