I think they turned out descent, and will work perfect for what I need them for. And they're something different.

 

Some more pics I took with the "saddle cans" on before I rode last night. Lighting sucks in the side pic, so I will try to take some better ones when I get a chance.

 

At the bottom of this page are some black leather handles, as well as many other types, but thought the black ones at the bottom "A Black Leather Handle with Mounting Brackets Attached SCH-32" might be suitable if you ever desired

Dad had Cans on a old Honda he used to have, done up "Rat Army" Style. Worked out really well. Wish I had bought that bike from him.

 

Nice job on the "saddle cans" I was thinking of doing that for my Wide Glide and found this on a search. Good to see what it would look like. BTW, I was thinking about replacing the handle with soft ones braided from Paracord, keep from rattling. Either that or JB weld the originals down in place, but yours look pretty clean removed.

 

I`m a little to late reading this thread. I was going to suggest a couple small squares of velcro on the underside of the handles would have eliminated the rattle and still be functional.
