Default Molex de-pinning tool

Are they all the same? Want to get one in preparation of my bar swap, and I want to be sure I get the right one. If anyone knows a particular source, it would be appreciated as well.

Thanks.

I use a long T shaped pin. No need to buy a tool.

Molex makes many different pins so don't just by any molex tool. Digi-Key has most tools but you'll need to identify the correct pin and don't forget to reshape the ears when you re install or it won't hold properly.

Yep, exactly why I asked. Was hoping someone here knew the specifics.

I use a 2" safety pin, you know the kind your mom would do up your diapers with? It's the technique to getting them out that's hard to explain.

A paper clip should work fine. I sure as heck would not go buying special tools for that.

I use a hunk of coax TV cable, and strip it so about an inch of copper wire is bare...... Works like a charm, like a tiny screwdriver, and the cable sheath up top acts as a handle.

That is a great idea! I am going to have to make one too.
