Default 2015 Street Bob Price OTD

I recently started shopping for my first cruiser, I'm looking for a base model street Bob in denim black. I went to the local Harley dealer in so cal and was qouted almost 18k OTD, the fit manager mentioned if I haggeled I could probably get it down to 17k. I'm thinking this is very high, I have always had liter sport bikes and never paid msrp or higher for a vehicle in my life, but I have contacted three dealer in my area and none will even give a quote without coming in. I think 14k is more than fair considering invoice on the bike I want is 11,059$. Any advice or dealer reccomendations? I'm in Riverside, CA

Sounds high on the street Bob. I bought a '14 fat Bob that retails higher than the street Bob and I got it for 16,400 out the door.

15,000 to 15,500 OTD at the most, nothing more. Unless you want abs or security then it will be more. Oh yes, Cali emissions package is a few hundred more as well.

That quote was probably with options like tire and wheel warranty, extended warranty, and hd theft insurance which are all pricy. I went with the tire and wheel and its already paid for itself.

Just purchased mine on 2/14/15, here's what I paid and keep in mind that around here in so cal Street Bob's are gone within days if not hours and I didn't want to wait the 6-12 weeks it would take to receive an ordered one when I had a perfect one right in front of me. Dealer's around here arnt desperate to discount too much because someone will walk in and pay full price. They can be fair tho if your not a d!ck and don't try and grind too much. I paid 18,878 otd, that included over 2k in CA state, Local (i.e. Huntington Beach City) and federal extortion,,,, er I mean taxes, and 1350 worth of parts/labor (forwards, rear pillion, passenger pegs. My bike also has security and ABS.
So with the 1350 of parts/labor removed the bike was actually 17,528 otd. I really love this new SB and hell if i overpaid or underpaid I don't care, I'm riding the bike of my dreams and that's priceless. Good luck with your purchase!

$13,6755 OTD with forward controls installed, denim black...... No abs or security. Plus a free t-shirt, LOL.

KS price with military pricing, not too bad

That price sounds like it may be a little high. I do not know how much the taxes in CA are, or the extra charge for CA emissions. Last Thursday I ordered a 2015 Softail Deluxe, $20k out the door. It includes the extended warranty that gives me a 7 year warranty. Blue book for my trade in is about $8500, I owe about $9000, so that is also in the out the door price.
I went in the dealer, told him what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. I'm happy with the deal.

I'm just under 15,900 OTD for my 2015. I did an HD1 build and got mine in white hot/ blue hot pearl color and with the black and chrome engine. I got the price the harley site says it is + freight and local taxes.

That is a high price for a base Street Bob.
