I had Cycle Shack tapered slip-ons on my Sportster. I would not want to be any louder than the 'Shacks were. I like the style of tapered mufflers. Anybody here running tapered slip-ons on their Dyna?
What kind? How do ya like 'em?
on my Dyna Sport (trade in for SB 07) I used SUPERTRAPP SLIP ON TAPERD and they worked very very well , now on my SB I use RB Racing LS Black Hole 2-1 and I ma really really Happy
Just installed the Krome Wreks 3"hp tapers on my 06SB-Love the sound, as someone told me today 'they don't obnoxious but very threatening"
The tone is deep and only bark when you get on it. the chrome finish is really nice.and they look closer to stock than the cycle shacks.
I have the SE Torquers. They have the tapered look. Louder than stock, but notas loud as V&H short shots. I'm not sure if they make them anymore, but you may find them still in stock at an HD dealer. You might try Zanotti's or Surdyke. HD part number 80061-00
I was running the SE Pro torque slips ons also #80061-00. they sounded really nice I just changed to the big shot staggereds for a different look.
If you are interested in a used set of the SE pro torque mufflers Let me know.

the 3" are fairly new, so must dealers don't have them in stock -I had to order thru Drag Specialites, who had to order them directy from Krome Wreks. had to wait 3+weeks for them
to come in
