Default heat paint

Is there a better type of heat paint available?

Is there primers and clear coats available for heat paint.

I painted my thunderheader and it looks like crap now after 2 weeks. Used gloss bbq paint any suggestions?

Used to be VHT brand Heat paint in a rattle can. I bet even that would not last. You might check into powder coat. Does your t header have heat shields, if it does you might try the vht if you can find it. It may be ok from the collector on back to the muffler. Vht flame proof coatings Google it .....sorry only flat finishes..

If your trying to "paint" chrome,, you'll never get paint to stick to the smooth finished surface and stay stuck, you have to "scuff" the chrome surface with sandpaper first.
Use a 320 or 400 grit,, but you'll never get the shine back,, it's kind of a permanent thing.
