Thanks for all the responses, I just wanted to give an update if anyone cares. Im gonna skip the bars and fairing for the time being and put the money towards....a chrome SE Heavy Breather, chrome D&D Fat Cats, and Power Vision. This will get me along with the appearance and performance at the same time. I have a windshield already, and the stock bars arent that uncomfortable. Ill post some pictures once I get everything added on.
Note: I did have a couple quick questions. I think I have it figured out, but wanted to get any input if anyone has made similar purchases before i pull the trigger this weekend.
#1. Will the Heavy Breather part # 29299-08 work on my 07 Dyna? I put in an email to HD, but figured i would see if anyone here had an answer
#2. Does anyone with a Fat Cat have any scraping issues? They talk about the new upswept design to prevent scraping. Just curious, im pretty set on the pipe since i think it looks and performs great.
Thanks again fellas
*Update - Well HD got back to me and said that the 29299-08 is not "validated" to fit my 07 low rider. Well from previous browsing of the forum and looking at the HD race catalog, I am going forward with my purchase of the HB 29299-08. I just think its weird that HD would reply saying that 29299-08 does not fit, and offer no direction to something that even would "fit". It is like saying no we dont want your $350, crazy. Just wanted to put that out there for anyone else in my situation when looking at the SE HB.

OK another update. I went ahead with my order of the Power Vision and Fat Cat, but this email from HD stopped me from ordering the Heavy Breather.
They replied saying if I tried to bolt on the 29299-08 there would be a gap and that I could upgrade my throttle body to a 50mm for it to fit, but it would be considered a race application. I really dont care about that race application deal, but i really dont want to upgrade my throttle body to put on the Heavy Breather.
Can anyone who has put a HB on a pre-2008 dyna shed some light on this topic? Am i pretty much screwed on the HB if i dont upgrade my throttle body?

Not sure, but I do believe there is a HB for earlier years ... BUT - H-D is not the only option ... A. Ness makes a similar looking unit which will fit ... as do others. I love going to HOG meetings and people look at my bike and marvel at the parts on my bike, going "Where did you get that?" "Oh - you know - around ... " And Ness is like 10 miles away ... but they've never been there ... LOL You don't have to worship at the alter of the H-D mothership.
PS: I've worked at both the local H-D dealership - and Arlen Ness.

Alright, I just called 3 dealers in the area, 2 of them said that they think it should work fine, and the other does not. I am not sure what to do, I was pretty dead set on the HB for the looks/performance/price standpoint, but I dont wanna get something i cant return. I guess i could buy it from the dealer and if it doesnt fit then should be able to return it, but it would run me $75 more...damn
Any insight would really be helpful.
This is from the 2014 Harley Race Catalog.
Fits ’08-later Dyna® and Softail® models (except ’11-’12
FLSTSE2/3, ’13-later FXSBSE and ’14 FLSTNSE). Streetlegal
when used with Original Equipment throttle body. Also
fits ’99-’07 Dyna, ’00-’07 Softail and ’99-’07 Touring models
(except ’99-’01 EFI Touring), and models equipped with 50mm
Throttle Body P/N 27623-05 (race application only). Does
not fit models equipped with fairing lower glove boxes or fairing
lower speakers.
The 50mm throttle body is what gets me, because doesnt 2007 Dynas have a 46mm?

If it were me, i would do it differently if i had the info i have now when i got my bike....ditch the HD heavy breather and get the 636v from DK and get the external breather bolts or filter. better price and better for your motor!
