Peek into the Club/Thug style dyna thread. Hundred of pics of each setup. Personally I like 8-10 in risers and a tracker style bar. Stock Sportster bars are a really nice bend for dynas. Lots of options and adjustability with this setup too. T-Bars don't give you that, but they do allow a cleaner look with internal wiring. Bung King now makes a one piece lower riser in lots of lengths that is drilled for internal wiring so you get the looks of hidden wiring and the adjustment of 2 piece bar/risers.

I don't know how tall you are but I wouldn't go any shorter then 12" total rise. I put 10" tbars on my bike years ago and to this day wish I would have gone 12". I agree 100% with shitface, when I get around to doing bars again I will be going risers/ bars

I'm 5"8, I was considering getting 14" MX bars thru WCT but I haven't really sat or ridden a bike with 14"'MX bars .. I currently have 14" apes as my set up and have them leaning slightly forward for a more aggressive feel... So I'm now trying to figure which direction to go with my next set up... Would 14" total rise be too much ? I was thinking 12" riser with 2" bar rise or just 14" slingshots from WCT

14 might work. Remember with tbars or the riser/ bar setup, the higher you go the closer they get to you. So that kind of makes up for the rise. Might be better going 9-10" risers and then you can play around with bars

Im running 10" risers, with a 2" rise tracker style bar. I'm 5'7" and the fit is perfect. I would like to change it up, and go to the forbidden risers, and pro taper bars some day, but that's basically for aesthetics.

thanks for the input! I got some time to look around, planning to use partial of my tax return for bike parts so until then I'll keep looking where I can try out a mx set up or riser/bar setup... The WCT Slingshots just looks so awesome and they're quite narrow around 28" width... I'm just afraid if I would like them or not... What's ur input on the width of the bars ? I like the narrow look but idk how responsive it'll be. I'm about 200lbs with a pretty husky build, and I ride the corners pretty hard. What do u suggest ?

My bars are 26.25" wide. Took a few to get used to them compared to the stock mini apes at 34" wide, but I love it. Can split lanes with ease, and handle awesome through the twistys

I don't know the width on my bars, they are wild 1 chubbys but they are wider then 26". I see guys with the narrow bars in traffic sometimes and I envy them. I like the look of my wider bars better but id go to the narrow ones in a heartbeat just for splitting lanes
