I have the 4" tach/speedo combo on my 07 street bob. It was a breeze to install only thing is after you program it you need to put 32 miles on the bike to have the speedo locked to the computer on your bike. The only thing with the 07 is I dont get the gear indicator, but the 11' should.

 

have you encountered any codes?
I had this one on my 05 super glide but it threw a u code every few miles. I went with the Dakota and like it much better. Even got the gear indicator.

 

No codes of any kind for me. In the box there was a pigtail wire that you had to connect the speedometer to the ecu plug and wait for it to do something as you watched the readout go from 0 to 100%. It said in the instructions that if this step wasn't completed successfully you would get error codes. I don't know if that could cause your codes?

 

I got a code 1 time right after I pulled the main fuse when I changed my bars and ran the wires. It was a vin code. I pulled the fuse again and its been fine since

The sportster kit works BUT it aint easy!

The wires need to get cut and the plug replaced. There are problems with that - ambiguous wire colors and missing stripes... I had to change the hookup twice before it worked.

Then I realized that the tach had a black trim ring and my speedo had a chrome ring. Looks like hell, and I still haven't figured out a fix for it. But I am riding my bike much better with a tack.

Best bike in the world, and it doesn't even have a tach? SUP with this ****, MocO?
