It has been a long cold winter in Chicago, ready to ride. My FXD35 has been at Zylstra Harley awaiting installation of street slammer bars for a couple weeks now. They had a set for sale mounted on a new softail deuce, and wheeling my bike right next to it, eyballing and lining everything up made me comfortable enough to order them. I like the flat track style bend (like you get on a deuce with the risers) but was unable to find a new or used '06 '07 Dyna at any Chicago dealer with them installed. The street slammer barslook to duplicate that deuce placement/reach/bend - in a one piece design that accepts internal wiring. I'm also getting the vital fluids changed and getting braided lines. I expect the bike back in about a week, will post pics then.
