Default FL-Vied-10 Routing

I am about to install the Vied on my 2014 Fat Bob. The routing of wires for the rear O2 sensor is a piece of cake but the front is a little more difficult. Where and how did you guys route the extra wire from the V-ied, after making the connection? I want it to look as neat as I can and also run both grounds to the battery.

After connecting the plug at the bracket on the lower front of the bike it leaves about 12" of extra wire plus the ground and the ground isn't long enough to reach the battery. Did you guys run the wires under the bike along the frame or somewhere else?

Thanks

I connected mine to one of the bolts for the voltage regulator where mounted to the frame, it is a good ground.

Never thought of that. What did you do with extra slack caused by connecting the FL-10? did you just bundle it up and wire tie it?

I bundled the wires together with zip tie behind this plastic cover back when I ran one...YMMV

Thanks guys, looks like that's where the bundle of wiring will go, along with the ground to the regulator.

I don't have it installed yet. My bike is stored in an unheated shed and it's been too cold to work on it. So far, the only thing I have installed is a set of 3" V&H slip-ons which I get very little to no decel poping. I also haven't installed a DK Custom 587 Air Filter. With these two add-ons, I will need a fuel adjustment and the FL-10 is the most economical way to go. My main concern is the motor running too hot, but with the FL-10, it should run cooler.
