Default end of the Dyna

While riding this weekend some of the guys said that they have heard that this will be the last year for the Dyna. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I hope you are right. It is a great platform. Sporty feel and big bike power.

The Dyna line will not be stopped. Too popular. They may drop a model or 2 (or even replace them), but not dump them. If that were the case the VRod line would go first.

I heard just the WG, but I'm sure they are going to bring it back within a couple years better than ever.

I have heard the same about the WG. The others are some SOFTTAILS and the 883 Sporty.

I should think not...handling andthe motor. I have been in some curves on my SB in front of my buddies on crotch rockets wanting to try and pass me. I would hate to see them terminate the dyna models. Great handling and power to match. I don't see a reason to end the dyna class.

You have got to be kidding...like it or not, the future definitely lies with the VRod concept, if only because of pending legislation and tightening regulations. I don't like it, but I don't deny reality. We've all seen the future, and it ain't air-cooled. It's only a matter of time.

...and that's coming from a guy who traded his Night Rod in after three months for his Dyna Custom.
