At the very least i'll be getting new torringtons..... might as well get that Wood +4* gear while i'm in there. Fueling race lifters and a high flow oil pump couldn't hurt either. My wife is gonna be pissed! Thank god July shutdown is right around the corner.

Clean Your IAC Vacuum Inlet
Discovered this 1/4 inch hole in the intake, on the inside, under the top. It feeds air into the IAC motor. When cleaning out your intake, don't forget this vital hole, because it can have a great effect on how your bike runs. Rub your finger on the inside of the intake until you find it and shoot some throttle-body cleaner in there when you're cleaning out your throttle body.

Picked up odds and ends from the powder coater today. I went with gloss black with a flake in it. I really like the color... In fact, now I kinda wish I had used it on my motor where I had used Liquid Black last year...
They wrapped everything when I picked it up, and I didn't want to unwrap everything until I'm ready to reinstall, but here's one side of the quick-release back rest. Kind of difficult to photograph, but you get the idea...
They do nice work, including two-tone stuff. And there are always some interesting pieces waiting to be picked up...

Haven't done much to my Dyna other than ride it this season, which I admit is kind of nice. I've got a few things planned for the future, but they'll have to wait. Too many other projects...
Not to say I haven't been busy in the garage working on a Harley. I'm putting together a 2016 Softail Deluxe to be sold. I've always liked these bikes, and when I'm done I'll get the opportunity to put at least a few shakedown miles on it before I sell it. Don't think there's a chance in hell my Dyna's going away to be replaced by a Softail, just to be clear.
The bike was in an accident, and partially disassembled when it made its way into my garage. Here's what it looks like now.
Thread in the Softail forum on how I ended up with the project and future updates:
