What did you do to your Dyna today?

After much deliberation, I pulled the trigger on the Leather Pros T sport bags yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they shipped out already and should have them in my hands by Thursday.

You will love them I have loved mine and it took a long time to convince myself to buy.
On a side note, bikes back together was just the lifters thankfully. Supposed to be raining all week so can't enjoy. I expect to tear up the roads this weekend.

So I have always hated the tail light on my 09 street bob so I pulled it off and got to thinking....
the actual plate mount is separate, the blinkers already work as brake lights, blinkers, and running lights so I don't REALLY need it. Turns out the plate mount has a hole already centered and it covers the hole left by the tail light soooooooo,
capped off the brake light plug, zip tied all the wires up and out of the way and bent the mount to hug the fender. Put a couple pieces of fuel tubing under it to save the paint and voila. The screws on the bottom just has a big washer to catch the lip of the cutout and hold the fuel tubing. I cut the fuel line for the top at an angle so it holds it up a bit. If I need light on the plate I can always use the license plate bolts with lights in them.

Checked again on the Dyna to see if it was still on the lift. I'm starting to trust this lift with my beloved.
I'm really starting to feel like working on the bike again. I was thinking this day would never come.

Today I bought a small leather tool bag from JP Cycles. With gold membership combined with redeemable points I saved a lot. I paid a total of $22.34.
