finally installed my murdock pull backs and biltwell bar. ran another tuning session on the tmax and must say this bike just gets sweeter and sweeter. so ready for my suspension to finally come in!
This is how I did mine: drilled two 1/2" holes through the backing plate, removed the 2 rubber lines from the breather bolts to the intake, and added 1/4" I.D. (1/2" O.D.) fuel line to the breather bolts with clamps to route the fuel lines outside of the intake to a brass "T", then to a K&N 62-1330 external filter. The stock Ventilator air filter was also replaced with a K&N HD-0910 air filter. Sealed the back side of the backing plate fuel line pass-throughs with a little 100% Silicone RTV.

Looks great, and you're welcome! I got the idea with help from Tin Cup Chalice and others on here.
Installed new bigger saddlebags, and moved the old saddlebags back to my wife's bike, since I "borrowed" them until these arrived, but had trouble getting them mounted. Finally, got them mounted, though they're not quite "straight" with the ground or pipes, but they have locks, and hold just about twice as much as the wife's bags do. Now, I'll have room/space to stash my chaps or jacket in them, if I don't want to wear them.
What do you think?
Then, I rode it to work, today, just like every other day! Started in the upper 60s, and supposed to reach highs in the upper 70s or low 80s this afternoon. Had some rain over the weekend, though, so humidities are UP, but should be a nice ride home.
