I see that face during every BRC. Yes, it's great to see too. Some try to down play it. Those I tell, "It's ok to have a good time, riding motorcycles!"

I'll probably get it installed tomorrow. Had about enough for one day. Time for a cold one...

How'd it go removing the emblems? I'd like to do it but previous owner had it parked outside so I'm worried the color might look dif under the emblem...don't even know if that's a valid concern haha. Looks good!

It was quite a PIA. My heat gun took a crap on me so I was stuck using the wife’s high dollar hair dryer (shhhh. Don’t tell her). And even though the hair dryer got much hotter than I expected, it was just about impossible to keep the emblem itself from separating from the foam in between it and the tank. It ended up coming down to lots and lots of elbow grease, rags, and goo gone. I just wasn’t able to get the adhesive hot enough to get it to peel off completely.

I use plain mineral spirits and it melts the glue easily, Just wash and wax afterward .

Another trick is to use new plastic bondo spreaders, one to lift and one on opposite side to keep emblem from touching paint.

wd40 does wonders.. I removed mine from the FXDC tank which is a huge emblem with dental floss, no hair dryer, then wiped away all the remaining dammned 3M double sided tape with wd40

My package from Fuel Moto came yesterday. Cylinders, pistons, heads, cams. I'll have it together this weekend and then start the break in process.
