Won't have to worry about the CAN bus bullshit with a FXR2. Back then if your bike had a dead lamp they assumed the rider would know without a computer having to tell them.

Don’t I still need the adapter if I go with custom dynamics led sigs/tail though?

I've heard you can get hyper flashing without a load equalizer/resistor. That's on bikes with electronic TSM. I never actually tried it on mine. I went directly to a controller. Not sure what the FXR2 has for electronics. If it has an old school fasher relay, you can get a new relay that is load independent. If it has a TSM you may want to look into a LED controller from Badlands or Custom Dynamics. I'm not a fan of the big resistors myself, but they're cheap and do the job if budget is the primary concern.

Installed the Rifle 4" over windshield on the FLD. The curve isn't quite the same, so it took lots of loosening and re-tightening to get the QD arms to fit properly. Dressed up for a ride and found the battery was dead. Was fine last week. On the charger now. Just my luck.

A great weekend to all, and if you can/do ride, be safe. tp dd50
