I don't believe so. Removal of the rear wheel and swingarm helps though.

Headlight came in. 10 min install no issue man it is bright.....

Mchad,
Sorry, I don't remember the brand name. It is a Daymaker knock-off that I bought from eBay last summer, for like $43 shipped. It works well, is really bright, and does not throw codes like some that I have heard about. I hope that this helps.
