Default Spring is in site

But there’s still snow and ice on the roads here so I’m on schedule. Set up the mikuni 48mm on the super G intake and modified the a/c bracket to hold it secure.

Damn! How big is that motor? The 48 is a massive carb.

New pipe got here from Horsepower Inc. Build quality is phenomenal. Hopefully it sounds as good as it looks. Should know in 3-4 weeks when the tins get back from the painter. After that it’ll be heading to HPi for dyno tuning.

Looks pretty sweet. Out of curiosity, what does the inside of the collector look like?

It’s a 124. 48mm is smaller than the super G I believe. But yep it is huge, bigger body than the 42/45.

Also have a Cobra Powerpro RPT chrome 2 to 1 full system, and a fork brace on order.
Do you have a HD product number for that insert by chance. I like it man.

‘I’ll try to get by the shop tomorrow and get a pic. This work crap keeps getting in the way of me doing what I want!

Sweet. Figured that or 143. The 48 is big. My brother just put a new 111 black edition in his FXR and is running a 45. The S&S may be bigger, but is older technology. The Mikuni will run circles around it.

I’m in the parts gathering stage of a 143 FXR build, but I’m going fuel injected so it’s kind of a different animal when it comes to carb/throttle body sizes.

Post up some finished pics and numbers once you’re done.
