Finally became a Dyna owner again today. Been looking around lately, and decided on this one. A '12 FLD, with 7400 miles. Stock, no Stage 1 parts. Came with the Harley Boom Sound System, and I added a Sundowner I kept from my last Dyna. Has a windshield and a QD Sissy Bar/rack combo too.

Cool and rainy today, so only rode around 10 miles, just to make sure it would feel as expected, and it passed with flying colors. Glad to be back on a Dyna, seeing that will no more of them made... tp

Got some more done on my 110+ project .............

Grinding the seats (multiple angles)

Re-facing the valves

Checking the spring tension at the measured installed height as well as at full lift

checking installed height

Had to make a valve seal installed

newly made tool !

Checking valve travel & seal clearance

Good to go

Mmm , dry film coated pushrod tubes

Had to make a seal driver , hmm , a tool I didn`t have . Heads are on , moving ahead with finishing it up . I need to look and see if I can find a S.E.P.S.T. map that will work for me.

Nice work, and a nicely equipped shop. Just curious, what cams?

Thank`s , 45 years of riding and wrenching for a living and being a tradesman since high school.

I`m using a Screamin-Eagle kit for the 110 engines , comes with 259E cams , perfect fit pushrods , high compression Mahle pistons , gaskets and a clutch spring which I think is not the correct spring for this bike , I`ll know tomorrow when I look inside the clutch cover. I tweaked the heads , added a 58mm throttle body and my own hand crafted air cleaner.

Nice shop!

Heck, all I did today was ride 400 miles. (Did see the Blue Angels practicing over I-8.) They practice just like their shows. With precision...
