When it comes to winter you need to up your game Make your garage your second home. My garage is toasty warm, I'm surfing HDF on the PC out here, the sound system is blasting out some Savatage on Metal Shop, there's a cold beer in my hand and more in the 'fridge next to the computer. The bike is sitting on the J&S and we're just hanging out; we can't ride, but we still have our 'quality' time.

This retirement thing is fun, I highly recommend it A few parts I need are on back order until the end of the month so I've declared January, 'hang out and have a beer with your bike' month...

That's on my list for 2019. My current garage is a converted detached carriage house that's literally too short for a normal car. No insulation, no heat or AC, no plumbing, very little power (2 outlets on one wall and one in the rafters) etc. Next version will be at least 40x40 (rather 40x60) with all the bells and whistles. Can't wait! I've built three cars and two bikes in this one and it's a HUGE hassle. Only room for one project at a time and the cars have to be on casters so I can turn them sideways...and no covered parking for the cages... I've got a 69 C10 waiting for resto-mod but I can't do it until I get more space. Add the ERA Cobra build I've been planning for 10 years...yeah...I need more shop space.

Still got 29 years before I can retire, at the current retirement age. Wife, work, and moonlighting make sure I have as little time as possible to spend in the garage.

Make them a great 29 years, because you can never get them back as a do over... tp dd50

Just curious, how much of that ride was on surfaces like in your pics? That is some feat, especially on a Dyna, if so. tp dd50
