I was rolling the throttle open or closed when activating the right turn signal with the OEM switch covers. Went for a quick ride and these extensions are worth the $25.

My shop wont heat up to save my life, need to finish insulating it. It's not that I can't work on the bike in the cold, I just prefer not too. I'll look at my small collection of parts to go on the bike, polish them, admire them, looking forward to the day I get to put them on.
