Always a good day when there is time to install some new parts, even better when it's two parts at once.

Got my DK Customs footrests, matching passenger ones coming soon once I decide that I like them (if not, these go to passenger and I try another pair). Also got my swingarm bag on after having it for a month or so, had to hunt down the right bag mount since the stock one eliminates the left passenger peg. I went with Legendary Cycles bag mount, works very well.

Finally getting to a point where it's starting to look like someones motorcycle and not just "some Harley", some guys like they're stuff stock but I like mine to have lots of personal tweaks.

Just cleaning, rearranging, and organizing the shop. It's so messy right now I can't even think straight, can't find the tool I'm looking for when I want it, etc.

Just one more push and I should have the FXDB back on the road.

Waiting on a part.

The older one gets, the harder it is to find the tool you need.. Then find it sitting right where you left it. A regular occurance for me, and why I have really cut back on wrenching. Enjoy it while you can.

What I hate is when I drop a nut, bolt, or screw and it lands in an alternate universe, never to be found.

It happens now EVERY TIME I do anything on a bike, especially on the faired ones in the garage... Oh, and a cut or a mashed digit too. I believe Murphy and Kilroy have both moved into my garage. tp dd50

Been out of town the last three weeks. Got back last night. Off again for 4 weeks next Sat.

I did manage to get the Posh internal throttle finished up today. Cable installed and adjusted, everything lubed with 00 grease (very thin...almost oil, but won't drip/flow), and all torqued down (1 bolt, 3 set screws).

Feels like it has similar throw/twist as the stock throttle. Smooth action and clean looks, tho.

Kind of an involved install, but not terrible. Measure twice, cut/weld once!

will keep an eye on it but, is that gap supposed to be there between the engine mount an the engine, i'm thinking "no"
