The tail light came out good. When I first read what you did I thought it would be all screwed up. Nice job.

I got the reduced reach kit installed. Just need to pick up a longer torx bit to adjust the peg angle and go for a ride. Had a couple too many beers to take it out last night.

Rode her into Austin Thursday. Reminded me why I almost strictly ride back roads. It was pharking madness I tell ya. Took the long way home around the city. Stopped white knuckling after the last stop light.

Watching my son's flag football game this morning. After that I'm headed on a BBQ run about 100 miles west and will work my way home through some beautiful Texas hill country back roads. A great day ahead with temps in the 80s.

Enjoy the weekend fellas.

Another ride today, this time including a stint on the highway. Highway vibes in 6th in the 65-75 range are much reduced. Handling is very much improved; no constant corrections required; the bike holds a line MUCH better. I am very impressed by this - the improvement is even noticeable in 2nd gear 90 degree turns. It feels like a different (and better) bike.

My Glide is far less likely to be sold next spring than it was before. I'm a happy customer.

I finished replacing parts from laying down the bike a few months ago. The project included new mirrors, bar end signals, chrome primary covers and a custom etched derby cover designed by my daughter. Also, as part of the repairs, I removed the reflectors and put smoked lenses on the back signals and tail light.

Got forward controls and fork boots fitted this week. It's a 2017 model and already has the 117 kit installed and a supermeg pipe. The silver bit of the forks above the fork boots is gonna be covered in black soon too.
