Was window shopping online today contemplating buying a bassani road rage 3 question is whether I get the standard or lutzka? Anyone know if there's any sound difference between them?

Installed a VCS Predator front motor mount. Just finished - haven't even started it yet.

None what so ever. It’s not worth paying extra for a name in my opinion.

Taking a closer look again it seems the lutzka is slightly shorter for shock clearance. Is anyone here running a rr3 with 13+ shocks that have clearance issues? Lutzka
Standard rr3

I run 13.5 shocks with the road rage 3 standard. It's close to the lower shock bolt but it clears 2nd never touches.

This being shown- I’m purely experimenting, I don’t know that it will work long term, but in the mean time, so far, so good.

IDK depending on the length of the shock and the spring rate the wheel travel could be the same and dampening may be increased, but I am more concerned about the strut. Putting the shock that far out the arm of the strut will add more torque on to the strut when pressure is applied to the wheel. I fear he may bust the struts off.

Not to mention that the top of the shock is no longer mounted to the frame. It’s just mounted to the fender support bracket! Something is gonna break and it won’t be cheap to fix
