Decided to be a guinea pig for some kuryakyn xkursion saddlebags since there were no real reviews online. They seem nice and have a cool clamshell design and should him most anything we need for a little getaway. Will be installing tonight so pics to come.

 

Brakes are pretty good. I'm gonna leave it until I can test them on the road. In my experience, pedal/lever feel can be greatly affected by master cylinder and caliper design. I'm guessing the Harley parts aren't quite top spec and flex a bit.

Anyway...
Today I ordered a Posh internal throttle. It solves some problems (ugly cables and switch housings) and creates others (mounting signals and mirrors.)

 

Stuffed new daymaker in. it's not staying... goofing around with lights.

 

Last weekend I added a windshield bag for my reading glasses and built a new sturdier flag pole. This weekend I will once again try to find out why my tail light doesn't work but the brake light (same bulb) does.

 

I'm just waiting on the mood to work on the damn thing again. Been putting miles on the Kaw though.

 

Finally added a DK 2" tank lift that's been sitting in the box for months lol

Been poring over wiring diagrams and ordered supplies for a new wiring harness. The old harness comes out tommorow.
