Looking at that as an option too. Surely y'all can recommend something cheaper than this for floorboards?

Posting this here because I don't think ot warrants its own thread but I do think many might be interested.

Ordered some black filter oil because I hate pink. I didn't have a clean white filter to test it on but I did do a side by side on a white cotton rag.

This might be worth a try if you also hate K&N pink. Available thru Amazon in several colors. Yellow, blue, red, green, purple, black...

Polished up the last of my rear wheel parts with the new Jackson Lea aluminum polishing compounds. Wish I'd had these compounds before I assembled the hub. Much better results than the Enkay compounds.

Rode mine to work, even though weatherman said 30% chance of rain this afternoon, just about the time I'm going home. I LOVE this bike!!

Today I put the stock/OEM headlight mount back on the lower triple tree. Reattached headlight. The beam still needs adjusting.

Looks pretty damn sweet. Sounds like a positive review for Jackson Lea. I'll look for it when i get started on my aluminum.

They have several compounds for Aluminum/Stainless (same compounds for both, in most cases.)

They have an even finer grade than I'm using but Amazon didn't have it and I didn't want to pay shipping...

Depending on initial condition, I usually start with emery up to 1000 grit or so, then move to compounds.
