S100 Engine Brightener for the win The pictures just don't show how the engine black has a satin wet look to it now. I need to find a cheaper source for the S100, you can go nuts with that stuff!

What are your future plans for it?

And on a side note I used to frequent GMFS and remember you from there lol

Started getting a front end clunk when going over some bumps. Kept looking for something loose and couldn't find anything. Did a search for "Dyna clunk". Lots of different things but the easiest was gas tank bolt loose. That was it. Tightened it up and no more clunk.

I can't get a good pic of it but melted the housing on my wife's WG clutch cable. Now in the dog house for awhile....lucky to be alive...LOL

I was trying to fit her throw overs and get them good before our upcoming trip. Trimmed some vinyl straps and tried to singe them to prevent fraying. Walked off for a bit. Came back and could smell plastic burning. Noticed the fork bag was sitting crooked. Saw what happened to the fork bag but didn't notice clutch cable. Bought her a new fork bag and cleaned up bike.
We went for a ride to test new bags. She asked why her clutch wouldn't work then she saw the melted plastic....damn.
Nothing $150 won't fix. She won't let me near her bike now.....

I may try the S100 like TinCup showed. That may earn me some brownie points.....LOL

I'm currently waiting on a Bassani road rage pipe, as I just never loved my V&H short shots and want a little more out of it. Next I'd like to get a little better suspension going, rear shocks (tried Progressive 430's and didnt like them, good dampening but too high of a spring rate. Thinking Ohlins.) and emulators, different oil, and preload adjusters up front. Cams eventually, head work and maybe a big bore if I ever need a rebuild. But I really love it as it sits, and I'm mostly about keeping it a good looking, rideable, AND reliable all with a bit of performance.

and wow! I havent been on GMFS hardly any since I got the bike and school last semester, but my truck has stayed about the same and needs a little love. It should be getting a transmission and tires any day now!

Nice man! Good suspension makes all the difference. Sounds like you've got some solid plans for it.

Yeah I sold, my truck almost two years ago so I don't go on anymore. Every once in awhile I'll pop on and see whats going on. Always entertaining over there lol got a good laugh out of the fish fgt guy hahah

Default What did you do to your Dyna today?

Went on a ride with the local HOG chapter and now have 900 miles on the bike. I've got everything to do my first fluid service on the bike.

Our PC guy here in town had a customer appreciation day/car and bike show today and I took my bike there.

He was a very gracious guy and awarded me one of the trophy's, very cool, 'bout 9" long, 4 1/2" tall, 1/4" aluminum, PC, who doesn't like trophy type things

Mine and another bike (guy built a nice little trike with a sportster engine) got trophy's out of about a hundred vehicles.

Thank goodness there were only two bikes in the show or else I might not have got one

It was a good time though, met some nice folks.
