Got my cutting discs today and got the trim.ring more-or-less finished up. Still need to paint the edges black and figure out how to mount it to the caliper. Could probably stand to be a bit thicker...I didn't account for the deeper recess in the decal area on the stocker, but I'm pretty happy with it so far!
ETA: Edges painted and laid out on the caliper. I'm still considering my options for affixing the trim band to the caliper.
Put Kuryakyn extended forward foot controls on the 2017 FXDF. Biggest struggle was getting the OEM controls off which took a heat torch to melt the lock-tite. Really once I applied the heat it was easy. Love the riding position, I'm 6'2'', 195lbs.
Installed Krator 1/4 fairing. Looks exactly like the HD version but only 57 bucks.
Had to trim the bottom with my dremel tool, but it's on. Not in love with it like I thought I would be, but maybe after a day of riding I won't be so smoked.
My LRS morphed into this last night. I'm still part of the HD community with my Ultra though. So I guess I'm off to hunt down a Ducati forum. Ya'll ride safe out there!
