Went for the 1st ride today since installing a Saddlemen Explorer G-Tech seat on my LR. Both the rider and passenger agree, huge improvement over the stock seat!

Not today, but I put a Fuel Moto E-Series exhaust on my bike the other day, along with a new map (Powervision) from Jamie. HUGE difference compared to the Legacy Classics (basically drag pipes with rudimentary baffles) I had on it before. It's a good bit quieter, but with a much deeper sound. The difference in low end/midrange torque is almost startling.

Next weekend first service, tbr stainless exhaust, moflo intake and fp3 tuner..... Can't wait!

I'll probably catch some flak for this, but have you ever been blasted by someone with the same setup head on, or even behind you? It sucks in general, but I have light sensitivity and it is absolutely brutal.

The problem with putting an HID/LED bulb into stock buckets is that they are so different than the bulbs they were designed for and they scatter the light everywhere and don't focus anything worth a damn. For not much more money, you can install a Chinese daymaker knockoff from Amazon that doesn't have this problem. I have the moonsmc one that costs a little more on my fat bob because I wanted the lifetime warranty. On Friday night I rode my bike to go pick up a friend's new to him sportster (he couldn't ride it home himself, no highway or after dark riding allowed on his permit or something stupid). The previous owner had installed one of those bulbs on the sporty, and riding it back to back with my bike I never would want one on my own ride. They put out a lot of light, but blind the **** out of and annoy everyone else on the road.

Edit to add: congrats on your new bike!

I have ridden in front of every kind of motorcycle light. Half my riding is at night.
this bulb isn't perfect, but $60 and its well over 100% better then stock.
It is a must do if yo do any night riding and can't afford the real deal.

Not bad at all! 10x better looking than the stock one for sure. Who's is it?

I understand, a great deal of my riding is done after dark. You can get much closer to the real deal for less money:
Amazon Amazon

Here is a thread with some photos I took to give you and idea:

Another thing I noticed with my friend's light was that when the brights where on, it barely made a difference. Most of the extra light was just thrown at the ground. The ones with a projector housing actually throw the light further instead of just scattering it in a slightly larger circle like the LED bulb does in the stock housing. I can see a critters eyes light up from a pretty long way out, which has a lot of real world use if you live in an area with deer or other animals that might be in the road trying to die. You could probably even return that one to get the dayfaker and spend that $10 on beer instead if I've convinced you at all.
