As per Chris' request, I'll install the solid stabilizer link and road test first then install the CCE brace and road test again to see what each has brought to the handling and stability of the Wide Glide.

Also installed the M8/10mm chrome caps on the caliper hardware and the pinch bolts; they were the last of the allen socket bolts that needed covered

Thank you! I'm very curious to hear your impressions about both. I can't remember, are you running a stabilizer on the rear already?

took the day off and did something i've been wanting to do for few years, took the long way to brooks brothers... 6+hour coastal ride on the lummox. i am super happy with how this bike has turned out. extra proud.

it showed out on the curvy roads and behaved so well in town. was an outright monster on the highway (I10) coming back the fast way. stopped by indian to test ride the scout bobber... not there yet, fk.

made it to preppy central

also tested out the new icon pursuit preforated gloves on the trip. great!!! very happy

I added another Drag Specialties 1/ 1/2" Clutch Cable Clamp to secure and route the cable a little nicer.

Scored a '95 FXDWG a few weeks back. Couldn't pass her up for $3500. Couple minor issues like leaky calipers but everything else seems solid.
Threw parts on as they came in this week:
12" Miter Bars
Arlen Ness rubber mounts
Arlen Ness grips
short stocked mirrors
rebuilt rear caliper flushed brakes and replaced pads
Swapped oils
there in an Eagle gen3 LED retro kit on headlight
relocated license plate with bolt LED
Swapped the 16" front for the original 21" with twisted spokes
Love the feel of the new bars. Whole new feel gonna take some getting used to for sure.

Placing an order for some progressive springs for the forks. Probably replace bushings and all while I'm at it, maybe add a brace. Was bummed to find Progressive doesn't offer a rebuild kit for the 440s that are on the rear. Anyone make a kit that works for them?
WG guys noticed a big difference from adding the fork brace? Open to brand recommendations as well.
gonna get me some of those rat eye signals front and back as well.

Love it! A steal at 3500.00. Looks to be in amazing shape. I'd relook your cable routing. Especially the clutch cable.

Wide Glide 2006
Changed:
-pipes (Vace n Hines Large Radius)
-bars (LA Choppers Tree Huggers 13")
-seat (Biltwell Champion)
-grips (Biltwell Thruster Ox Blood)
It already came with (ugly) turn light mirrors that I'm gonna change soon.

Btw don't you think that there's a lack of good looking mirrors that have turn light integrated in? They're already a pair, quite visible to cagers so why designers of aftermarket parts aren't more into making them with more variations...?
