I wish there was something I could do to the bike. A delivery is scheduled for today, don't know what it is. A delivery is scheduled for tomorrow, don't know what that is either. The front brake line and hardware is scheduled for delivery on Friday. I hope it fits. My measuring was not an exact science.

So close to getting this bike back on the road- yet so far.

Edit: I just remembered, I need to get a bottle of brake fluid.

What filter were you using? This was the "upgraded" Arlen Ness one with stainless steel mesh that did me wrong. Amazon had a decent price on a K&N filter that should fit that included same day shipping, so I went that route until I hear back from AN. I definitely prefer the look of the AN stainless one with white filter element to the red filter though.

The red is from the oil. The K&N filter element uses white gauze. You can get filter oil in several colors.

Picked up some D.O.T 4 brake fluid.

Edit: I thought of something I can do. I can put the left handgrip on, yay!

I'm familiar, but the most readily available ones come pre oiled with the red oil! Faster was more important to me that waiting for a different color so I could ride it again, I've been avoiding using my car

Stripped and polished my rear sprocket. With the new brakes, the black no longer works. It was just satin black engine paint, anyway.

Black over factory finish.

Factory ground finish. Maybe 100 grit?

Around 2000 grit.

After liquid metal polish. It still needs hit with some rouge on the buffer but my back is on fire. Maybe later. It's pretty respectable.

Thanks! I should probably spend a few hours fixing the broken pics in my build thread and put this stuff in there but everytime I look at it I start cussing.

It does look great Photobucket boned all of us; I did download my library so I've got it saved, but their BS change is the end of them...

Try and download your library from Photobucket, you can upload back to HDForums with the 'insert image' icon...
