Went for a ride and got some pics of my new Lucky Daves seat that I put on a couple of days ago.

Broke off both my 5/32 allen bit inside the screws trying get my license plate off. Frickity-frack-mumbledy-munch. So I had a beer and mounted up the speedo/tach just to feel better. It worked. Sorta.

I'm getting irritated and frustrated now working on this bike. I think I need to take some time off from it. I may do some fiddly bits to it today-nothing that requires thinking.

Nothing wrong with that. I didn't do a thing to mine over the last month or so. It happens. No point in forcing it.

I get that. Happens to us all. Went for a ride yesterday, and got caught in a miserable thunderstorm. Totally drenched. made it home and left the bike dripping wet. Now covered in water spots. Just more to mess with... Oh he!!, think I'll just go to work. tp dd50

Rode it for 325 miles with buddies through upstate New York and Connecticut. I needed that ride to remind me why I own it. Long Island has some exceptional features but its twistie and undulating roads isn't one. Getting out of town is the elixir.

Great ride with greater friends! I think I'll keep her.

Here are two pictures of how I routed the throttle cable through the triple trees. I know this is not the ideal way to route it but it does not bind and the engine does not accelerate while turning the bars full left to full right. It looks OK, right? Maybe If I go to Sturgis one day everyone will point and laugh "Hey, look at that bozo with his throttle cable routed the wrong way!" "Ahahahahahahahaaaa"

I adjusted the turn signals and levers a wee bit, now they aren't even close to hitting the tank caps while turning the bars full left or right. I still want to tweak them a little more. I'm a bit of a perfectionist at times. I get on my nerves!
