Bars look good. How do they feel compared to stock bars? Did you have to switch out any cables?

Thanks, bars feel good, it's not much change over stock. I was able to use all stock cables with no need to unbend the throttle cables. I removed the strap that held the throttle cables to the triple tree, otherwise all the same routing. Also, wire plugs fit easily through the bars, so didn't have to un-pin them. I have read where folks have gone up to 14" Narrow Apes with stock, but I don't think I would like the look even if I got them to reach that far.

Nothing I can do to it today, or want to do to it today. The progressive spring kit is scheduled for delivery on Monday. I'll go from there. I'm bored. I'm going for a ride out to Edisto Beach on the Kawasaki.

Little stuff. A Chris Osman tank bag, great fit and workmanship, strong magnets and secure strapping for a giant cell phone or GPS.

I dig it. I have went back and forth on this. I have/have had many tank bags, and on my dark blue Triumph I had an issue with dust collecting near the magnets, and scratching the **** out of the paint. This is my only concern, especially with my black paint. I really like the looks of that bag, though!!

3M Scotchguard Clear Paint Protection Film. It works like a champ when applied over a waxed surface, it even comes off when you need it to. I discovered this stuff after my rain gear flapped its way through a paint job, I have used it ever since with great results, perfect for the wind facing front of the fuel tank and the front of painted fork legs, it does a good job of preventing paint chips about $20.00 a 6" X 60" roll.

Despite my best efforts, nothing.

I actually felt like doing something today so I went out and set up the plasma cutter and promptly blew the air line hose off. I wasn't paying attention and plugged in unregulated pressure. It's only rated for 90 psi.

Waiting on 5/16 oetiker clamps to repair it.

Today/tonight I added 10 ounces of fresh fork oil to the fork tubes and slowly pumped them to get all the air out and the tubes moved smoothly in the sliders. Installed the fork caps so no bugs get in there, took the handlebars back off so they wont be in the way when the new springs are installed. Called it a day!
