Took off early this AM, a great 184 mile day ride. Back in, washed and waxed the Lady's Tucson 'Walking Dead Edition' SUV, then washed the Wide Glide since she was cooled down.
Took the Wide Glide back out for a 42 mile ride, got to be sure you've got all that water off of her, afterall
Hit my usual fueling spot to top off the tank; the place is covered up in bikes. As I'm fueling some guys walk up, asking questions about the bike. Apparently there was a bike show in this burg, and the lead question guy says he won. He tells me he's glad I didn't know about the bike show, because that extra Benjamin in his pocket would have been mine
Ah, well, I don't pay any attention to anything in this town at all beyond their BLM and Muslim outreach nonsense, but an extra Benjamin would have been more sirloin steaks and more Leinenkugel in the 'fridge.
Took a glam shot after I got her home and waxed up. That's an HD; someone tell me I'm wrong here

No, I'm not. That was my day with my Dyna. It's a strange little quirky college town, some days are a bit off; I just wish I'd know about the bike show downtown just so I could have taken that trophy and the Benjamin from that sloptail; he was just a bit too smug. Riding a Softail, he should have been embarrassed, not that cocky
Comparing the two rides, I know who would have won that 'contest'...
And yea, I'm a bit partial to my ride; Wide Glides rule

Installed the PIAA H4 70456 Xtreme Cool Blue headlight bulb I received from Competition Accessories 50% blowout sale for $25.00. What a major difference! I have the HD headlight modulator which only works with halogen bulbs and WOW, this bulb is bright. First pic is low beam, second high beam taken at 2000 hrs.

Small project today, but makes a big difference. I installed the High-Lo-Halo adapter for my Custom Dynamics TruBeam headlight:
https://www.customdynamics.com/hi-lo...r-trubeam-5-75
This activates the halo ring function on the headlight and also keeps the low beam elements of the headlight on when the high beam is activated. Previously the low beam portion would turn off when the high beam was turned on. As an added bonus I now have it wired to leave the passing lamps on when I activate the high beam (for off-street use only of course ).

I just putt around town on the Harley-Davidson-for the most part. I also have a Kawasaki ZR1200 which is classified as a sport-tourer. That thing is uber comfortable and will eat up the interstate miles with ease.
I'm seriously thinking about chroming the triple trees. At this point it all boils down to money. I can always come back and do it later. A future project! The ole "project bug" bites me from time to time.

My brother started machining the first run of his 49mm fork braces. I'll be getting the first one to put on my LRS. The cool thing about his design is it clamps on more surface area of the slider than most other braces on the market. I'm really digging the look. He already has the 39mm version going and has one on his FXR.
I'm pretty stoked to be getting some cool custom touches on my bike.
Here is a pic of it after running side one in the Mazak horizontal mill.
